Responsibilities

The Director of Talent Acquisition will develop new strategies and programs to attract top talent required to meet business objectives. You will manage, coach and guide team members to ensure acquisition of high caliber talent at all levels in alignment with business objectives and organizational needs. Partner with company leaders/managers to ensure alignment between their business objectives and talent acquisition strategies and practices. Develop processes and procedures to maximize effectiveness of services delivered. Assess and continuously improve recruiting processes, identify and share best practices, and provide assistance to team members and company management/leadership on critical needs.

Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Director Talent Acquisition with Corizon Health:

  • Manage the design of strategies and tactics for the acquisition of qualified providers and staff.

  • Assist company managers/leaders with the development and implementation of effective recruitment plans and selection strategies for their areas of responsibility.

  • Assess the effectiveness of management and corporate talent acquisition services/practices and their impact on business results.

  • Drive increased quality of hire, decreased time to fill, and process excellence in recruiting.

  • Foster a talent advisor mindset with internal customers and teams.

  • Develop, select, implement and manage social media and other technology-based strategies to attract top-rate candidates for key positions. Demonstrate and ensure expert use of social media sources, resume harvesting and parsing, databases, and job boards to source and pursue qualified candidates.

  • Monitor, recommend, and implement creative, efficient, and cost-effective recruiting procedures.

  • Serve as a resource and mentor to team members. Identify and recommend training and development opportunities for individual members of the team, and develop the capabilities of the team to meet strategic goals and department productivity standards.

  • Evaluate and oversee management of recruiting solutions such as applicant tracking system, online behavioral assessments, internal applications (referrals, job postings, recruitment advertising, and hiring resources database), Intranet and external company website content.

  • Develop cost effective and proactive recruitment strategies/campaigns for recruitment of providers including direct mail, advertising, residency programs, state/national medical organization and specialty meetings etc.

  • Manage external relationships with search firms and contract/temporary firms. Establish guidelines for effective business partnerships and negotiate applicable fees.

  • Understand and anticipate labor market trends and their effect on the attraction and retention of talent.

  • Oversee the development of recruiting contacts with employment agencies, placement offices, and residency and fellowship programs. Establish formalized agreements with medical schools and residency programs for rotations in Corizon facilities. Represent Corizon at association meetings and training programs.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with Nursing and Medical School programs in the markets we serve.

Experience & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Human Resources or equivalent education/years of experience

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in Provider/Healthcare Recruiting and/or Human Resource related field, plus prior management and proven leadership within a Recruiting/HR function required. Management of a decentralized team, strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel)

  • Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resumé databases, Internet sourcing tools, and complex spreadsheets

  • Experience in behavioral assessment and selection processes also required

  • Occasional travel up to 25% to: correctional facilities, regional offices, client and/or vendor sites

A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
