$5,000 sign-on bonus available to eligible full-time employees.
• Complete diagnostic intake evaluations of individuals at the beginning of incarceration
• Brief, solution-oriented interventions
• Provide appropriate and effective crisis intervention to ensure patient safety. Consult with psychiatric, behavioral health and/or medical staff to coordinate patient care
• Complete other job duties as assigned
• Attend professional, staff, and in-service training meetings as required
Experience & Requirements
Masters level licensure in a behavioral health related field of Psychology• Required licensures include LCP, LCPC, LPC, LMLP, LMLP-T, and LCMFT• Masters Level licensure through the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board• Possess good interpersonal communication skills. Able to effectively interact with institutional staff, medical staff, and outside agencies
Clinical license preferred. Applicants working towards clinical licensure may be considered as long as client contact hours have been met. Clinical license must be obtained within 6 months of starting the position
This position may require a background check, security clearance, and/or drug screening
