We have an exceptional opportunity for a Behavioral Health Administrator to join our healthcare team at Northeast Correctional Complex located in Mountain City, TN.

Qualifications of a Corizon Health Behavioral Health Administrator

  • Masters' degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, health administration or related disciplines.

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and administrate mental health services and staff.

  • Correctional experience preferred.

Responsibilities of a Corizon Health Behavioral Health Administrator

The Behavioral Health Administrator will be responsible for the supervision and administration of the Mental Health staff.

  • Direct, monitor and assure the mental health components at each institution functions as an evaluation, assessment, referral, and treatment center for inmates who require acute, intermediate or long term mental health treatment.

  • Assumes administrative responsibilities of the Mental Health Unit.

  • Monitor and ensure the mental health referral triage process is carried out in a timely and efficient manner. (per TDOC Policy 113.82).

  • Manage, coordinate utilization of professional resources.
