We have an exceptional opportunity for a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator to join our Healthcare Support Team in Brentwood, TN.

Responsibilities of the Corizon Health Marketing and Business Development Coordinator

Creates, implements and tracks reports, analyses and communications that facilitate business and the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Additionally, serves as the event planner for the department and organizes conference attendance. Develops sales documents and statistical reports.

Conference/Event Planning

Serves as the event planner supporting the business development team's attendance of up to 20 conferences annually. Creates project plans and timelines and manages their successful implementation. Serves as the primary project lead coordinating with internal and external entities. In addition to project planning activities, responsibilities may include completing registrations, organizing reservations, remitting payments, creating and distributing exhibition packets, selecting and ordering sponsorship items, ordering and organizing giveaways, event planning, sponsorship support and shipping booths. May also include on site attendance of up to 6 conferences annually.

Marketing and Communication

Create contracts and manages invoice submission and tracking of government relations activities; drafts various correspondence; responds to inquiries; coordinates and schedules activities; manages general mailing, shipping and logistical support; manages credit card reconciliation; designs PowerPoint presentations; coordinates document/media support including long term storage, scanning, copying, organization of on-site storage and coordination of off-site storage; creates travel schedules; assists SVP in the creation and tracking of budgets, providing alerts as necessary; manages expense reports; assists in editing proposals as assigned.

Business Development

Administers Salesforce; researches and updates competitor analyses; responds to Freedom of Information requests and Open Records requests; creates Pending/Pipeline report for presentation to the Board; develops and distributes sales documents and statistical reports; assist with Oral Presentation materials.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of the Corizon Health Marketing and Business Development Coordinator

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Affairs, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • 2 years of direct work experience supporting sales or marketing required; correctional healthcare experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office application(s) and Client Relationship Management (CRM) programs. Experience with Salesforce a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to present oneself with confidence across all levels of the organization and with external entities.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment toward the job and the mission of the company; supports company goals and strategic priorities.
  • Self-directed with excellent problem solving/critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion with confidential information.
  • Online market research skills.
  • Able to multi-task and adapt to changes and shifting priorities with ease in a fast paced environment.
  • May require up to 10% travel.
