We have an exceptional opportunity for a Mental Health (Women's Social Rehabilitation Unit) Coordinator to join our healthcare team at Chillicothe Correctional Center located in Chillicothe, MO.

Qualifications of the Corizon Health Mental Health (WSRU) Coordinator

  • Licensure as a social worker, or professional counselor in the State of Missouri by the respective Committee for Professional Regulation.
  • Coursework and professional experience that indicates knowledge of management/supervision techniques, mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, treatment of major mental disorders and/or psychological evaluation techniques.

Responsibilities of the Corizon Health Mental Health (WSRU) Coordinator

  • Provide direct clinical and consultation services in accordance with the policies and procedures of Corizon Health and the Missouri Department of Corrections.

  • Responsible for overall planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and monitoring of all institutional contracted mandates, related to the WSRU program.

  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision and direction to WSRU Staff.

  • Maintain effective communication and work collaboratively with Missouri Department of Corrections, Corizon Health, the medical provider, and institutional administrative personnel.

  • Coordinate clinical needs with Psychiatry within a correctional setting, in order to service effectively the needs of the offender.

  • Maintain accountability for services provided through appropriate documentation and participation in Quality Improvement program.

  • Other related duties as requested by Supervisors or Health Services Administrator
