We have an exceptional opportunity for a Scheduler to join our healthcare team at Philadelphia Department of Prisons.

Qualifications of the Corizon Health Scheduler

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • One year experience in scheduling staff in a health care environment.
  • Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities of the Corizon Health Scheduler

  • Oversee all facility staff scheduling.
  • To be familiar with and apply the CBA covenants to labor practices within the region.
  • To maintain communication with PRNs and to schedule PRNs on a regional level.
  • Answers telephone, takes messages and makes telephone calls, as needed. Types correspondence, reports or memorandums, as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain facility schedule.
  • Assist in coordinating and following up on LOAs and temporary PRN employees.
  • Maintains roster or appointment book based on scheduled appointments and staff scheduling.
  • Orders, receives and maintains office supplies.
  • Provide administrative support to management team and AA.
  • Organize and maintain employee personnel files.
  • Assists with staffing coordination by making phone calls to additional staff.
  • Prepares payroll and OT authorizations as requested.
  • Inventories and order all clinical forms, medical supplies and office supplies.
  • Other related duties as requested.
