We have an exceptional opportunity for a Director Training and Organizational Development to join our team located in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Qualifications of the Corizon Health Director Training and Organizational Development

  • BS or BA in related field; Masters preferred.
  • A minimum of eight (8+) years' experience in training and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify organizational strategies and solutions to business challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of management and field staff.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Business acumen to identify business issues and conceptualize practical solutions.
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and work effectively under pressure to deliver results.
  • Interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with staff, customers and develop work communities to ensure buy-in and support of training and development initiatives.
  • Strong technology skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoints, etc.
  • Travel twenty percent (20%) with the potential of extended assignments

Responsibilities of the Corizon Health Director Training and Organizational Development

  • Direct and lead field training and development strategies, programs and curriculums, consistent with strategic and operational priorities. Collaborating with Operations leadership and personnel to ensure consistent execution and effective implementation of training across the company.
  • Research and identify learning needs, coordinating the design and delivery of learning and development solutions
  • Design impactful learning and development solutions that include: high-quality curriculum and materials, classroom, on-line, self-study, manuals, virtual and blended. The training will be consistent with Adult Learning principles and evidenced based training practices. Work in collaboration with operational leadership and personnel to ensure content and delivery methods are geared toward unique market requirements and site restrictions.
  • Lead projects, goals and objectives to ensure initiatives that align performance are reinforced to sustain organizational change.
  • Proactively partner with subject matter experts to develop and facilitate process improvements and creation of best practices.
  • 6. Oversee the quality and content of Corizon's proprietary Learning Management System (LMS), contributing to the creation and maintenance of new content.
  • Oversee the full utilization of the LMS course assignments, tracking, reporting and notification capabilities.
  • Partnering with operational leaders to assess, design, deploy, measure and evaluate training/performance.
  • Overseeing training programs and strategies for new employees (On-boarding, SMART Start, etc.) closely partnering with Operations and Human Resources.
  • Partner with Information Technology to provide support for technical systems training needs across the company.
  • Provide structure and leaning principles in the development and delivery of high quality clinical training initiatives, such as Core Processes.
  • Develop and communicate training and development goals for the company, with effective budget development and management.
  • Partner with outside consultants/vendors, as necessary, to negotiate and implement cost effective programs and solutions. Manage the relationship and project timelines.
