Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Quality Improvement Coordinator with Corizon Health:
Monitors site level clinical services/processes and reports findings to Regional Clinical Services Administrator (RCSA) on a daily basis.
Performs internal audits of site processes.
Prepares audits and collaborates with Clinical Program Managers, Supervisors, and leadership for audit planning.
Analyzes and evaluates charts. Prepares and distributes site-level audit findings to include recommendations and action plans for improvement.
Assists sites with identifying deficiencies, and provides recommendation for action plans.
Performs follow-up evaluations to determine the effectiveness of action plans.
Identifies site level training needs, develops training materials and conducts training.
Reviews quality of electronic medical records for all sites to include reports, assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and evaluations to ensure compliance.
Participates in quality improvement projects.
Assists in policy, procedure, and process development.
Participates in developing the standards, guidelines, and/or protocols for the sites.
Monitors and evaluates QI work plan process of data collection, analysis and reporting and collaborates with RSCA and develops written reports of audit findings and recommendations to the Leadership Team.
Collaborates with facility administrators at all facilities to meet federal, state, and county regulations.
Coordinates with corporate QI manager to ensure sites are compliant with program objectives.
Notifies and communicates with each site of program changes and updates.
Conducts yearly evaluation for quality improvement programs using the Quality Improvement Program Evaluation Tool.
Coordinates and leads staff discussions regarding contract QI initiatives.
Participates focus group meetings as directed by the QI Corporate Program with direction of the Regional Medical Director.
Identifies sites with on-going clinical issues and partners with corporate QI Department to secure resources. Ensures compliance of CORE PROCESS initiatives for all sites.

Experience & Requirements
Advanced knowledge and competency using Microsoft office
Strong process related analytical and data collection skills
1-2 years of healthcare industry experience
Two years of quality, compliance analysis experience preferred
Quality Improvement/Assurance Certification
Detail oriented and organized
Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
Current CPR Certification
A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
